ROUTERANGER NAVIGATOR APP PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your right to privacy. It is our intention to inform you of how your personal information will be gathered, tracked, used, and archived within the Routeranger Navigator App (“the App”) and the Routeranger.com backend servers.

All the information transferred between you and our servers is always SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypted for your safety and ours. For this reason, the App does not work without a secure encrypted connection.

We may collect information, including your IP address, in a form that may be personally identifiable. However, we only use this information for analytical purposes, and to safeguard the Service against unauthorized use or abuse. We do not share this information with parties outside your organization without consent.

COOKIES AND PERSISTENT STORAGE

The App may use cookies and persistent storage on your mobile device from time to time. These enable us to personalize and/or to remember the state of screens and settings in order to ease navigation and access during your return visits to the App. The App does not work without being able to remember basic settings between App launches.

LOCATION INFORMATION

The App may access your mobile device’s GPS location information and may transfer this information to our servers whenever you are logged in and have an active route.

This information allows designated members of your organization to know where you are in real-time as well as your speed and direction of travel. It also enables the system to notify clients of your location and impending arrival.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We have implemented systems and policies to protect your personal information such as registration information. We store all information in a secure Class-A facility. All information is routed using SSL encryption.

We adhere to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the United States Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from the European Union.

REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION

There are instances in which we may be forced to divulge your information, such as where required by law, regulation, or litigation. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure should be made for reasons of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
